We can't just go and buy the best in the world. We need to improve on our current crop of players. People like Williams certainly improve this side. Don't worry about sell on value. In a couple of years we COULD be in a position to buy a top player to upgrade on Williams. Thats if this Moshiri project goes the right way!

Ashley Williams is worth as much for his toughness, durability, and leadership as he is anything else. And the thing that very few are saying is what needs to be said--Jagielka leaves a LOT to be desired in terms of leadership on the field. I love Jags and he's put in some great performances over the years, but he's injury-prone and less and less of factor when in the lineup than he once was. If these weren't concerns with Jags, I'm not sure RK would be looking at the likes of Williams or Fonte. This is an admission that this team lacks real leadership on the pitch.
