We need a centre half regardless of Stones staying or going so im not against Williams signing. Its clear that Koulibaly is a Stones replacement so, like i say - Nothing wrong with bringing in Williams. Has a better injury record these days compared to Jagielka it seems, which is a shame, i love Jagielka.

He seems a level headed bloke who will add something to the dressing room. Always seems up for it. People say he's a leader, from looking at his interviews during the euros you can tell he is. All the other players like him and that says alot.

Our dressing room doesn't seem full of leaders/motivators. For that reason I'd take him regardless of his age.

Great signing for £10m if indeed that's the fee.

The big question is, does he come straight in as our captain and new leader? I think he does. We badly need a decent captain. Jags just aint vocal enough.

Excellent signing - him and Gueye might not look quite as exciting as well all hoped at the start of the window, but if they'd come after a Koulibaly/Witsel etc. we'd be over the moon. Hopefully the marquee names will come later but for now very pleased.

Yes. Jags has had his time. I'm sure he is respected in the dressing room but it is obvious on the pitch we lack a leader. Some of the matches over the last 2 years have had zero leadership and came near to being embarrassing in that respect.

Leciester won the league with Robert Huth and Wes Morgan, Williams for me is superior to both, all about in which way we set up defensively
