My only concern is I've seen him sprawling about on the floor a few times where he's tried to make an interception at the last second and completely missed the ball. He always looks really upset when he's playing as well.

Other than that, get in there Ashloy.

That could be said of any defender to be fair. What I can tell you, he won't make many errors like the ones you have highlighted. Class act, with premiership experience and will settle the ship for the next 2 seasons at least. Now for a goalkeeper who commands his area please koeman.

He'll do fine. Ship Stones out and pocket the resulting £40M difference........

15% to Barnsley and if a fee is agreed, there'll be a big element of add-ons - monies payable if City win the League, Champions League etc. If Stones is set on a move he should be sold. It was enough that he stayed last season. To expect him to do so again, after the club had 12 months notice is too much. What's the point of keeping him if he's going to turn in another season like last? Sell, and move on.

Always liked those two. Very solid, proven professionals. We could do much worse. Not to mention it devastates Swansea (nothing against them at all actually, but business is business).

Back on topic, I'd be made up to see Williams sign. Very Distin-esque signing. And right now we need players in their prime, and he is very much that. Would be a bit of light in a dark summer thus far. Maybe it will open the floodgates in terms of signings.

Can't moan about his one if true, a proper defender and a leader that doesn't particularly rely on pace so can probably carry on high level into his mid 30's
