Handball but let's not let that get in the way of a good witch hunt.
It's not a witch hunt mate so don't be stupid.
He's been a vital squad member for Dyche whether we like it or not but come on mate, his mistakes have stacked up, he offers nothing going forward, barely offers anything defensively.
He's finished basically.
He was solid today but then sprayed a pass across the back line thinking he's still got Rio Ferdinand alongside him who can actually read the game and not the Burnley Baresi.

I watch most of the home games drunk these days and try to catch a full re-run on the streaming services. No worries mate, I appreciate you watch football with kaleidoscope vision so you keep banging the Young drum and we'll catch up again next season
All the best

Mate, if you can't see that there is a potentially game losing howler in Ashley every time he plays, tell me what you're drinking before you watch the playbacks... He is a liability.I watch most of the home games drunk these days and try to catch a full re-run on the streaming services.

Exactly, an aging top class player, his football brain carries him through for a while, but, his lack of mobility and pace mean that even after a reasonably solid display,he is always likely to be caught out. It's happened too frequently this season and doesn't bode well for next season.I thought he looked solid and did a good job till the refs mistake. Tactically astute Mikel Arteta targeted the other side of our defence.

Yes, but, that was earlier in the move and does not excuse Evergreen Ashley, not for the first time this season he has cost us the game. Never mind blaming the ref, he's a crap ref, but, that's beside the point, if Evergreen does his job, it doesn't matter that Oliver hasn't given the hand ball. The ref gave that goal in spite of being sent to the screen to confirm a blatant handball though.
How brilliantly naive.I don't disagree. But the last three words are the the most important. He's an integral part of that unit and it is disingenuous for anyone to say otherwise.
Earlier in the move? He was sent to the screen to look at it. It led to a goal.Yes, but, that was earlier in the move
Quote the whole statement I made, yes it led to a goal, but, it wouldn't have if Young had done his job. Did you ever play football and if you did, did you have it drilled into you ' play the whistle' ? Well Young didn't do his job, if he had, the VAR call would have been irrelevant. As I have said on many occasions, Young, although he has played at a high level for many years, just can't hack it any more and he is a liability. You can't justify the selection of a player who is, week after week making potentially game changing errors by saying, ' he was solid apart from that',Earlier in the move? He was sent to the screen to look at it. It led to a goal.
