Do you reckon? I'd bet he's in the starting line up next game. I'd also chuck a tenner on him getting a yellow card.
He doesn’t play like an experienced player.Gets picked because of his experience. Makes the kind of brainless tackle an U21 might make to give away the pen. He's backup.
Dyche must really not fancy Patterson
Experience is what gets him picked no doubt but at some point you have to actually perform well to stay on the team. No idea what Dyche is doing picking him.Gets picked because of his experience. Makes the kind of brainless tackle an U21 might make to give away the pen. He's backup.

The fact we're having to choose between two full backs in the twilight of their careers, one of whom who has a very lengthy history of very serious injuries, shows how mismanaged this club is from top to bottom.I’m sure he will. It doesn’t change the fact that he’s played his way out of the lineup.
In general Dyche has gotten most decisions correct. He’s wrong here. Subjectively and objectively.
The only advantage Young has over Patterson should be experience, but he’s impetuous and does not play or carry himself like an experienced player.
He has nothing on Coleman.
He plays like he's out of position. He put in an absolutely terrible tackle, like a forward might make, near the by-line in the first half when he was too slow to the ball.Experience is what gets him picked no doubt but at some point you have to actually perform well to stay on the team. He wasn't exactly Maradona at his best either.
He was a forward. He was just exceptionally quick so could get in players' faces and then react. He cant do that anymore. He plays like he's out of position. He put in an absolutely terrible tackle, like a forward might make, near the by-line in the first half when he was too slow to the ball.
