Would disagree a bit with that mate, thought he was really influential from March - May last year.

He’s a bit of a poster boy for ridicule, unfairly a lot of the time and no way we should be starting with 39 year full back and no way he should be playing every game - but that’s more on the club then the player himself.

He's the same age as Modric, but not on the same level. He doesn't play every game 90min anymore of course, but still on the same level. I hoped he becomes a Modric on Everton level. He showed some his class in the last 3 games, but had many very bad games as well. I remember 3-4 good games of him last him RS home and Villa of course.

I don't care about age, a player should play when he deserves it.
