4-3-3 for me. If Rondon had been here a little longer 4-4-2 would be a consideration. The 3rd midfielder should be Gomes but I would try and get Gbamin a run out for last 10-20 minutes. The only way I would consider 3 at the back is Holgate and Godfrey either side of Mina.

Dont think you really ever see Benitez play a 433 though mate certainly from the off so I cant see it tbh unless he was impressed with the switch at Burnley and decides to persist with it

With our current squad it's probably the best suited formation. To be fair I'm not to fussed how they line up if we win.

If we can sneak a win here we go 9 clear of Villa with a better GD. If Utd beat West Ham we would go 5 clear of them with better GD.

Still think this will be a point at best but a win would be massive in terms of putting some early space between us and the rivals for Europa League.

He looked isolated, feel like DCL and Richy feed off each other so well that it becomes very noticeable when either play without the other!! Although I thought some off the ball runs which richy did on Monday went unnoticed, particularly for Grays goal!

I’m not a fan of weakened teams. In-form sides want to play. Play them.

I note that whilst ‘weakened’ and ‘weekend’ are not quite homophones, ‘a weekend’ is certainly an anagram of ‘weakened’. I am unsure as to what all that means for our winning chances this weekend, but I hope it strengthens them!

You say that but he worked for the team and his runs behind diverted Burnley defenders and created the space for our 2nd and 3rd goals.
