Squad very thin. DCL and Richie out makes it very tough against Villa.
Other than a few minutes against Burnley, Salomon Rondon last played a game for CSKA Moscow in May! He has had no pre-season. Joined the Blues on deadline day. No wonder he looks sluggish. He will be subbed at or before 60 minutes but he needs the minutes to get up to speed.
Solid performance so far but can’t see it finishing 0-0.

it’s one of those games where we could concede one or we could nab one, so difficult to call. I’d be very positive if we had Richarlison and DCL on the pitch but needs must.

Agree Eggs but I would add James to that sentiment, exactly the player who would make the difference here.

I actually love Gray. Rondon looks dangerous at least. Doucoure's energy and effort is admirable but I think he's made a dozen poor decisions already in this game.

We look solid for a team missing five of its starters. I just don’t see the end product or dynamism in the final 3rd without Richarlison or DCL up top. May need Gray or Townsend to come up with another big one.
