Kean apart and possibly Gbamin (who looks goosed for next few months) our transfers were not those of a club positioned to challenge Top 6. Gbamin was brought into replace Gueye and he’s injured so basically we have a starting 11 that’s weaker than last year. Kean might improve our goal scoring when he’s up to speed but we are too heavily reliant on him. Not getting a game changer like Zaha was a mistake. May not be the season we were hoping for. Could be a lot worse.

Time for a new system Gylfi is a problem he doesn’t affect the game he’s not in a 3 in midfield as he plays next to the striker but he doesn’t create or get us high up the pitch...I would never have subbed Bernard he can play in behind the striker and stop the ball finding its way out wide to Coleman who despite his good movement rarely puts a good cross in...a Tom Davies would have been ideal in there tonight as Gomes and schneiderlein simply don’t work together..kean and Iwobi and Delph are badly needed in this team to kick start it

We have no steel at all. Gutless performance which I'm all to used to seeing over the last 20 years.
None of them deserve more than 2/10 - Pickford aside - but Schneiderlin was pathetic. Get shot as soon as possible. He doesn't appear to give a monkeys and brings nothing to this team. Gomes and Gylffi were abject - our midfield overrun by an average team.
Sort it out Marco. You haven't convinced me that you know what you are doing. Wish we had Nuno.

I read a lot more than I post here, but feel the need to vent a bit this morning.

Coleman, Best days are a distant memory (Sorry)
Scheids, I imagine he has a very, very limp handshake (Wet lettuce)
Gomes, We bought identical twins... the ‘Baller’ twin had the night off (again)
DCL, is Marco being ironic by giving him the No.9 shirt?
Walcott, makes the impossible possible... but in a bad way

Big Dunc... Legend, but maybe not a legend in striker coaching after all?

I know it’s only 3 games in, but I can’t see us progressing with 4 of the above 5 being on the park. We have some talented players in the squad, but we have no depth, no team spirit and we can’t score!

I think we have the makings of a decent defence, but we are going to keep getting exposed when we’re chasing goals all the time, especially with the loss of Gueye.

We might as well just drop DCL and start Kean, I don’t care if he’s only 19, he was one of the few players who actually looked arsed last night.... let him learn on the pitch (I’m pretty confident he’s not another Sandro!)

Hopefully that's the last we'll see of DCL, I swear we'd be better off playing with nobody up front than him. There are championship teams who wouldn't have him even on a free and us paying his wages.
