No it isn't. There is nothing, repeat nothing, original in christianity, it is an amalgam of many, many others. If you look at it properly, and thoroughly.
Even the concept of a 'christ' has a much older origin outside of Palestine and even the middle east of those times.
Ergo, christianity isn't even christianity.

Mate I’m not saying it’s not a copy of other religions but it’s it’s own thing. So is Spotify not Spotify cos lime wire existed 15 years ago? It’s just a modern take on other festivals but the festival of Christmas is still a Christian celebration

Are you back on dry land or still stuck in a lock on the Trent and Mersey ?
Back in the kitchen of doom for two days, before returning to the ship of doom in the grand Union.

Of course, all my efforts and sweat to get past point A before it shuts have been buggered by the female who has insisted on babysitting the 6 month old screaming grandchild the day before we return to carry on. This means she'll be sleep deprived and grumpy, we'll inevitably lose at least half a day getting the wee baby ready for handover, which means the whole effort will fail and all my sacrifices and agonies of the last week will be for nothing ... just so she can coo-choo with a child that will remember nothing of it, but will cry the house down for not being with its parents. And for me to sound like a complete ogre let's pretend that she hasn't babysat just four days ago!!

But you cannot tell the female anything. It is HER granddaughter and every day she doesn't see her is infinite.

Ffs. She'll still be there after the 3rd! ?

Ok. So you explain to me how Christmas is christian, then how Easter is christian too.
There is a massive difference in ownership. Christians celebrate 'christmas', the birth and rebirth of the son (sun) or Horus or Mithras. There is no mention anywhere of the date of the birth of that particular christ in any of its writings.
It wasn't till the middle of the 4th century it was 'decided' to adopt 25th December as a 'birthdate'.
This is a judaic death cult. 'Modern take' or plaigiarism? They're not the same.

Mate you’re giving off bad fella with the long hair in the bar in Goodwill Hunting film vibes. Take a chill pill, I’m high AF . I’m not arguing with you on the similarities or if it’s plagiarism of another religion. All I’m saying is the festival of Christmas is celebrated by Christians. I dont see many Coca Cola rebranded red costumed Father Christmas figurines in ancient or modern Pagan culture.

You may be high AF but what you've just posted isn't what you were banging on about.
Maybe put your crack pipe down, get some OJ and take it easy on the shrooms.
As for the vibes, that's your frazzled mind spinning cause you know you're just chatting wham and can't stop.
Enjoy the rest of your bacchanalian festival but don't go over the edge.
Shalom. Namaste. Sup.

I suppose the only original thing about Christianity is that you can commit multitudinous crimes, repent on your deathbed and, Bob's your uncle, heaven here we come.

That which cannot be said must not be said. That which cannot be said, one must be silent thereof.

Wittgenstein

The best Logician ever, tells us, speaking about God is ultimately meaningless. It can’t be discussed meaningfully, so why bother?

I believe in Spinoza’s god, who reveals Himself in the lawful harmony of the world, not in a god who concerns himself with the fate and the doings of mankind

Einstein

The guy who gave us general relativity, and showed how gravity actually works, believes in a God put forth by Aristotle and Spinoza.

Being certain there is a God, is as absurd as believing there is absolutely no God. You both lose.
