Just noticed that if you are ordering a kit through the Official Site, you can only get a maximum of 8 letters on the back (if you are not getting a players name) Previously I think this had been 10, my name is 9 letters long, so I cant get my name on the back of the shirt.

I think I had this problem about 5 seasons ago we did a similar thing and changed it back to 10 after people complained. I am not sure why the club have done this, with names like Schneiderlin, Funes Mori and Calvert-Lewin its clearly possible to have more than 8, perhaps if its 8 or less they can do it in a straight line across the back instead or in an arch, so its easier?

Hopefully if I go into the shop they will do it for me

With respect, are you 10 years old? ;)

It gonna be this but with Sportpesa instead of NEC...

Agree with all of these comments. Umbro just aren't making any effort at all.
in fairness Nike are just as bad. All their shirts are the same template. I miss the 90's when every team had shirts that were instantly recognisable as theirs.
Personally i'd like to see us go to Adidas or Under Armour

Whaaaat! My name is also 9 letters. I checked the store and it says it's a maximum of 10 letters when there is no size selected, but goes down to 8 once you select the size :(

Adidas are just as bad as the rest for generic kits. It's been going on for years, even in the early 90s Chelsea had the same yellow 'zig zag' away kit as us.

Under Armour for me. I love Adidas, but even they seem to make generic kits now (I'd not be upset if we got them though!)
