The sooner we get them in the better - but these are big money deals with millionaire players and not straightforward I would think.Long as we get them in before the season kicks off and they have at least a few training sessions to work with the squad i really don't see the big panic atm, first game isn't for 5 weeks, get them in within the next 3 weeks and they will get a few pre seasons under there belt and 2 weeks of training, not like we are after buying crap - it will take time
This is a key thing I'd say. Over recent seasons we've usually bought late on in the window, often leading to a 'stalled' start. Let's get the new signings sorted in good time to get some training and pre-season games in. Time to start moving in the market is during the next couple of weeks for the first batch of deals.Long as we get them in before the season kicks off and they have at least a few training sessions to work with the squad i really don't see the big panic atm, first game isn't for 5 weeks, get them in within the next 3 weeks and they will get a few pre seasons under there belt and 2 weeks of training, not like we are after buying crap - it will take time
I don't doubt that. There will be big moves for players soon, Koeman will be taking a couple of weeks to access the squad we have, a lot of our targets will have been on Holiday after the Euro's, they'll all be returning soon so deals can get done.
Just sit back and relax, and stop wetting the bed about no signings yet, they are coming, big time.
We have been in pole position since he agreed to come here mate.Witsel's agent saying Everton are in pole position to sign him, from a Russian journo on Twitter. @arturpetrosyan
Witsel is a mercenary by definition hence this and last moves for money. Not arsed if he turns up here but he certainly ain't playing for the badge so to speakI think our willingness to pay huge wages is the biggest factor. Also don't under estimate a fact we may pay fees upfront which will influence the selling club to accept our offer over another team.
Would be more straight forward if we had a DOF handling negotiations. The sooner we get them in the better - but these are big money deals with millionaire players and not straightforward I would think.

As long as these mercenaries have bonuses written into their deals for top 4 finishes and trophies we should all be happy.Witsel is a mercenary by definition hence this and last moves for money. Not arsed if he turns up here but he certainly ain't playing for the badge so to speak
It might be a lot easier next year when we have money and Europe to offer.Would be more straight forward if we had a DOF handling negotiations.
