...just checked the latest odds and Inter Milan are favourites at evens to sign him closely followed by ourselves at 6-4. We were odds-on not long ago but the 6-1 on offer a few weeks ago is long gone.
I would have thought Napoli would have known that Higuain is going plus their cb who is on our radar is going to be sold for big money. Would have assumed with that in mind they would have had no issues signing Witsel if it was just about paying the supposed fee of 20m or so.
Not saying your wrong either mate, he might end up there, I just assumed if they really wanted him then surely they could have struck a deal by now and offered what Zenit were asking for

think we are all desperate for a signing but they have to be the right ones, we are dealing in a totally different market to boot but they have to be the right ones. but saying that is witsel better than what we have here already?? absolutely

I think he is off to napoli. Surely that was his preffered move from the start, but now Italians have the money after cashing in on higuain (not only in England they went crazy on ridiculous pricetags)

He won't be going to Napoli - Zenit have said they won't deal with Napoli, and besides Witsel will not agree to their image rights terms.
Inter have already said they cannot acquire him because of FFP but have asked him to stay at Zenit and arrive on a Bosman next year.
