Only thing I can think of if he ended up at them lot is him doing the dirty tackles in the Derby in the name of being a team player.

Highly doubt it's Liverpool, they wouldn't pay him the wages he wants if the rest of their summer shopping is bargain basement so far. Southampton, Newcastle, some crap German teams hardly cry out signing great players.

Really not bothered about this guy now. Let him go where he wants. If he cant buy in to what we are looking to do then we shouldnt want him anyway. Just walk away and wish him the best of luck for the future. We have money to spend and we can bring in as good a player.

He knows that Everton fans are mentally unstable when it comes to transfers and just loves a wind-up

Wonder who the other offer is from in England? Think we can assume Napoli and Inter are the Italian teams in for him... or to have at least offered him a deal.

But there's no evidence he isn't 'buying into it'. He's simply got other offers on the table that any reasonable person would expect him to be considering as well as ours...

Errr, pretty sure Mane is getting close to 100k p/week mate, and Wijnaldum will be at least on par with his N'castle wages (supposedly 70k)

I think it may well be the case that we've already moved on to prioritising other targets (early moves on Carvalho, for example), but if Witsel does come back to us with an agreement to sign then we'll get him in.
