Transfer Rumour Axel Witsel

Will be very happy with him if it now does come off, he can do everything not had a player who can do that for a very long time

Metabolizing

An increasingly hot name for the market for Italian teams, but the future of Axel Witsel could be in the Premier League. Everton, to be exact: there is the agreement between the British and Zenit based on 30 million euro. The Belgian midfielder born in '89, while waiting for the possible relaunch of Italian teams, now seems not intend to accept the transfer and is metabolizing the idea of going to Everton.

To be fair, Di Marzio sold Witsel to different Italian team everyday so I won't say he is an itk.

Aye mate its all about getting the most clicks for them, thing is, all journos want at the end of the day to make the final call right, sounds to me anyway like the clickbait season for them is over with Witsel and now he's basically telling it like it will likely pan out - and then will claim he broke the story no doubt lol

If both those players did come in then at least one of Barry, McCarthy or Besic would potentially leave in the summer window.

Ideally it would be McCarthy as arguably he's been the least affective as of late, yet would still demand the highest fee due to a few fators.

Personally, I think under Koeman he could be a better player as he was somewhat lost under Martinez but that's purely ifs and buts.

Watching the game today I feel certain McCarthy could thrive under RK, either in a box-to-box role or the holding role.

Think Carvalho would be the one, for me, to prioritise bringing in, with a playmaker after that (Ross won't get the time and space he did today in the PL, obviously, and the best way to help him get that is to have a player further ahead of him or on the wing who can split a defence with a neat pass).

Witzel and Carvalho ... Ross in front ... Mccarthy to leave along with Barry ( can see him going to the States or Aston Villa ) .. Besic / Gibson / Davis in reserve but Davis used as cover at right full ...

Witsel is the type of player that creates space for others mate, another part of his game that tends to go unnoticed, especially as he likes to ghost into the box when the balls out wide as well, he will create a lot of space for however is playing the number 10 role for us
