All ' Everton , to be exact: there is the agreement between the British and Zenit based on 30 million euro. The Belgian midfielder born in '89, while waiting for the possible relaunch of Italian teams, now seems not intend to accept the transfer and is metabolizing the idea of going to Everton.

woah! wasn't expecting that, in my opinion we don't need both. especially with barry, barkley and mccarthy whilst giving gibson a new contract, i'm a big fan of davies, besic is there as well. If we add an attacking play maker which would push ross back up the pitch (my preference rather than the manager's i suppose). Even though most of those names aren't great, there's a lot of numbers. Based on that i'm presuming the rumours on mccarthy going are true. I suppose with the sale of stones we could afford both, a new keeper, a playmaker a backup striker and a centre back ... or two.

Comes down to this i suppose.

Do we have a better defensive midfielder than Carvalho - i don't think we have one close to him
Do we have a box to box midfielder better than witsel - again i don't think we have one half as good

The transfer is currently just going through the usual end of contract severance negotiations. He doesn't submit transfer request and he's owed the remuneration of the remainder of his contract. He requests the transfer and he waives entitlement to any remuneration for the rest of his contract.

Transfer request officially submitted.
Zenit will now officially listen to/ accept offers. This bit has already unofficially been agreed with Everton.

Now the clock starts ticking. What happens next? Deal is agreed and announced within 48-96 hours and
Axel strolls into FF and two foots McGeady back to the SPL.

Hope so mate, strangely given all the palarver and peoples opinions on him being a bell after this saga (IMO wrong), he's supposed to be a model pro as well from everything i've heard about him
