considering that we moved closer to signing him last week than we were a month ago, I'd say that FourFourTwo article is just making it up.

He may well go to Juve. He could come to us. Hoping for the latter obviously.

Where did you hear that? I've no idea how reliable FourFourTwo is in all fairness.

I did wanted him but by this point I'm indifferent. He's a good player but nothing extraordinary from what I've seen. Certainly not so good that we should be held to ransom or messed around indefinitely.

Said the other week when he was heavily linked with Napoli, and it looked like that was his prefered move, that he could see out his contract, and then join Napoli for free with a big signing on fee, could easily be the same with Juve.

This exactly. People saying move on to other targets must realise any decent player will not come to us easy. If we could have any chance to get him across the line it is worth the effort and wait. I'm sure koeman is looking at another couple of options anyway. Bringing in another cleverly is not good enough any more. We have enough of them.

Him waiting on napoli is actualy worse than waiting on juve. An says loud and clear we are plan z. Got to be time to walk away from this. He wont be made to make a decison until we give him a time ultimatum which we should have down 2 weeks ago.
