Marchisio (though he is injury prone), Lemina, Pjanic, Sturaro, Asamoah and Khedira.

I do think they'll go for another midfielder like, but won't pay massively over the odds - so I suppose we'll see.

Juve have already spent a huge cut of any Pogba deal, I very much doubt they'll pay megabucks for another centre mid, if they do indeed go in for another.

They've had a good window already and if they were serious about Witsel I think they'd match our offer or at least get close enough so that Zenit would accept it.

Juve probably waiting for Pogba to sign for ManUtd then they will be able to offer Zenit the same as us, this is perhaps what is holding whole thing up. If Juve really want Witsel and his first choice is there, it will happen. They are a giant club.

That's a phantom bid almost that would have been the sort of thing we might have done under the old regime. I don't see why they would bother and they don't have a need to seek favour with their own fans.

Surely they would just do nothing and leave Witsel and his team draw the obvious conclusion?

I don't see what's in this for Juve to make an offer knowing that it's below a rival bid and that Zenit will not accept anyway.

Him waiting on napoli is actualy worse than waiting on juve. An says loud and clear we are plan z. Got to be time to walk away from this. He wont be made to make a decison until we give him a time ultimatum which we should have down 2 weeks ago.

Imo mate we are in no position to be dishing out ultimatums. When we are chasing champions keauge quality. Think its more a offer themmore then anyone else and wait and hope.

Thanks for the update i do appreciate you coming on and giving us the latest news to the best of your knowledge. An i dont think its fair that you are critised when some thing does come off exactly as you have said.

However i do question why the club are still persuing this transfer as during this draw out saga it has been made clear that yes he might have terms agreed to join us but he will not accept (sign) them until he has ensured every other option has been explored and dismissed. It doesnt exactly fill me with enthusiasm that he wonts to come. Id rather we move on to other targets.

I think we should be pushing on with trying to get carvalho instead although that seems to have gone cold aswell.

I think that Witsel is the replacement for McCarthy where as Carvalho was seen as the replacement for Barry so different roles. I think either way in next couple of days we will see a end one way or the other

Just not sold on this guy...every time I've seen him he looks bang average. Seems to be a money chaser and just doesn't fill me with a sense of excitement.

Youth its been a couple of days for a couple of weeks now. Juve can keep raising the bid a couple of mil at a time until zenit accept one. Could be another couple of weeks and then he goes juve anyway. If juve have supposed to have put a final bid in at 22mil and that bid is rejected we need to grow some balls and tell him to sign or we move on.
