We have a squad there that many said was the best squad we have had in years, add in the likes of Tom Davies...actually you know what sod it, no point arguing is there? There really is no resoning with the negative bunch

Nope I dont buy that. Martinez brought in some absolutely tragic players.

Im delighted with Koeman I'll happily admit. But he's getting no help here.

ok mate (Nothing will be the same tagline blatantly tagging onto the hype bandwagon):

and from the Mosh himself: see the bit where he says he's committing extra funds to transfers:

ffs D, that is a chuffing season ticket slogan! Martinez was in place when that was announced. If you're using that as a milestone you truly are deluded.

And Moshiri has evidently put his money where his mouth is.

A total of £10m on Koeman, compo and wages for Walsh, redevelopment of GP, pushing on with the stadium plans.

Funds have been made available for transfers as well - evidently - since we've agreed a deal of €30mil for Witsel (and that's just one example).

You said nothing came from the club and I showed you two things.

And all the club have to show for it is a player relegated from one of the Prem's worst-ever teams.

Top level players and a winning team. The rest is very much secondary by a long way.

and off the pitch improvements lead to been able to get better players.

Tim, this isn't FIFA. Get a grip lad.

If we're in the same boat come September 1st we'll all be concerned. Until then genuinely chill out, it's tedious.

Ignore him mate he's a lost cause bless him

What worries me is even if he signs, he doesn't

Erm, maybe some players mate, forgive me but isn't that the main thing ?

and we are after players!!!!

we have agreed massive fees for Witsel and Carvalho. Unfortunately due to the fact that our stock has fallen a lot in the last few years it's hard to get CL-standard players to sign on the dotted line straight away, despite us offering huge wages.

I just find it bizarre that we are doing the backstage restructuring during the window instead of focussing on key signings. Surely a stadium etc can be worked on come September?

It has been a massive overhaul coaching wise Lou. There's a hugely imbalanced squad playing wise as well - we have been working on deals and unfortunatley the main ones (e.g. Witsel) haven't come to fruition yet. A lot of that is down to a player who can rightfully want to join a CL side probably not leaping at the chance to sign for a team that has been tosh for two years in a row under Martinez - so yes, there is a big rebuild job...

Again, i'm not saying I'm not frustrated. But I won't be worried unless we fail to make any improvements when the window has shut.

I'm still chilled over transfers because there is still a fair few weeks left till the window closes. Also, I know we've had a new coaching system to bed in, and it takes a bit of time, no problem with that either.

The point I was making is how some are now blaming Martinez for supposedly the 'mess' he left the club in, and how that is having an impact on things, someone mentioned it the other day about Martinez, and loads have now jumped on that bandwagon.

nothing there was 'hype' .

It was a season ticket slogan / advertising campaign. The other was a statement from our new investor back in February.

That's not 'hype' at all.

No mate its Pogba's fault lol

This is the point I was trying to make yesterday, it's not like the time when city came into money, simply because most teams are now rich so there is a lot more teams in play when it comes to signing players
