And at £50, Everton's kit is joint-third most expensive in the Premier League compared to others released for the new season.

They're high, but it's a bit false to suggest they're "joint-third most expensive" in the PL. When you have 12 shirts released, and 5 have the same price (let's not be an ass like the Triggs, and let's assume that £49.99 is the same as £50), 5 of the 12 shirts cost the same, and Everton's is one of those 5.

More apt reporting would show that Chelsea and United charge £55, most teams charge £50. 5 teams also charge less than £50, but we should ask who is buying these shirts in the first place.

It's prices like this though, which drive people, like myself to fake shirt websites, what consequence does it have anyway? The Club doesn't see any of the cash, so whats the point?

£50 for something you may wear for 9 months at max for most people.
