Fellaini for me too.

Only because we've proven we can survive without Baines recently. Well no, but we've proven we can still function.

Without Fellaini we usually look completely useless.

Yeah know what you mean. When Baines was out i was suprised how well we coped....not that i want Distin there forever.

On a side note i still have idea why United want a left back.

My United supporting mates tell me that they wont be spending too much this summer so why a left back when they already have a decent one? Add to that they desperatly need a decent right back.

I believe Fellaini will be talked about in the same way that Keane, Gerrard, Vieira and Essien are in the next two years, he is a one of a kind footballer and the one player I don't think we could afford to lose as he plays in a role that is central to the tempo of the play and the way in which the team performs, Baines is someone who plays off that, but is replaceable or dispensable in the way that adjustments can be made to play with Fellaini, I still believe we can be ace without Baines but is struggle to see it without Fellaini, he is to us what Toure is to city and Scholes to UTD.

We only played 4 games without him, conceding 4 sloppy, avoidable goals against united. The other 3 games we faced really poor (on the day) teams.

That's not my point.

My point is that he's usually the hub of our creativity, but we managed to score lots of goals without him. I'd still rather have him and will be gutted if he leaves, but I think Fellaini's impact on our game would be missed more, looking at the big picture.

I was looking at his defensive duties more than his attacking prowess.

My point is i don't want him to leave :(

Anybody sensible wouldn't bet on Fellaini being here in 2 years either. Unless Moyes works some absolute magic this summer and next season and we qualify for Europe then i'd expect him to be playing at one of the top tier teams by the time he's 26.

He's just too good to not be playing in Europe.
