To be honest, Oviedo seems to fit Martinez's style better than Baines.

Think he links better with Mirallas than Baines does, Leighton seems to prefer Piennar/Osman style of play (and promisingly in preseason he worked well with Clverley as well)

Oviedo's low crossing is really good imo.

But yeah, his normal crosses aren't particularly good.

On the plus side we seem to have a genuine itk in @fitzyefc

On the down side hearing from him is probably not going to make us particularly happy given the news he'll likely be breaking.

Can you not diversify into transfers @fitzyefc - preferably incoming ones?

I actually think Baines had been putting in better delivery from corners since his operation too, like he was actually able to put his foot through the ball properly without psychologically pulling out of it as he hit them. They weren't hitting the first man!

This is a shame as I actually think Baines would be back to his best if his ankle was sorted after that op
