If you noticed, our last 3 players to play for England have been scapegoated by the media: Lescott, Jagielka and Baines. Baines was far from the worst player on the pitch v Mexico. Warnock went despite not playing? Carragher? Heskey?

The team has been picked by the media clearly. Do yourself a favour and support who they're playing, they're not representing you and they followed by a bunch of massive ********s. Pretty much every other nationality thinks that.

And yet some people still think just because he was a successful club manager he can do no wrong as England boss.

I tried pointing out that if McClaren had done some of the things Capello has he would of been slaughtered.

The guys just a tough talking puppet and England will crash out of the world cup in tears and blame either one of our players or one of another teams players.

It's unfortunate for him not to have the opportunity to represent England on the stage of the World Cup - but I think it'll be of benefit to us. He's going to get a break and then a full pre-season and that should be quite useful to us.

I agree Baines didn't exactly cover himself in glory against Mexico, but did that really justify him getting the boot? Warnock never played a single minute over the three friendlys he was on the bench for yet he gets the nod?! If he was dropped over his "homesick" comments last week then all I can say is he well and truly shot himself in the foot there.

That said, my respect for Capello has dropped significantly and part of me now really wants them to fail miserably.
