When it was Eto'o, people took Roberto's side. When it was Distin, who'd been a flawless player and pro for us for years, most people still took Roberto's side. But Baines? Wow, I'm absolutely fumin' over this one! I absolutely cannot BELIEVE Martinez would say that about Leighton! We needed Baines to say what he did so we have at least some indication (apart from the horrible displays on the pitch) that the players feel the same as we do-that something is utterly wrong!
And what does knobby Roberto do?! He does exactly what he said he disliked about Leighton: putting it out there! This will surely backfire! Hope everyone at Watford will give Leighton an extra loud cheer...if he ever plays again that is!!
