What gets me is that Crooks, Allen and all the other comms are of a generation that you would expect to come out and say "Get up you soft Neanderthal Faced Link with Cavemen tw@ and get on with it" yet they condone it.
 
It clearly was a foul today.

He was running full speed and you can clearly see the defnders knee hit his right calf knocking him out of his stride causing hims to lose his footing and go down.

Wasn't a lot of contact but there doesn't have to be in order to cause someone to be tripped at that kind of speed.

Sorry. Have to disagree. He was on way down way before contact was made.

Quite how you can disagree with what actually happened i'm not sure.

Watch that gif posted above, you can't see the contact as well as in other vids but you can see the knee go in to the top of his calf and knock his right foot out of step whilst he's still running.

Not disputing that there was slight contact. Just saying he was already on way down BEFORE contact.
 

Was a clear penalty. Yes I think he goes down easily but was a clear penalty. If that happened to a everton player we would be fuming. Very similar to andy Johnson I suppose. We used to defend him because we said he was so fast the least bit of contact would send tumbling. Clear clear penalty. Does bale go down easily? Yes
 
That's not a dive.

I hate the elf as much as the next rational person but that's a foul. Maybe not enough for a penalty but I can fully understand why he's gone down there.

maloney didn't get booked for his dive vs us did he? i know refs are clamping down on it a bit more but unless it's in the box i very rarely see them give a yellow for a dive, they just wave play on.
