I appreciate effort, too bad I'm terrible in reading stuff like that. I know how you think blue team would score, just I'm struggling to translate that into real pitch.

Oh well, it was fun to do anyway. I'm sure we'll come back to this discussion in a few months in the later stages of the CL.

Sorry mate, maybe I was a overly harsh before and it's just that I don't understand tactical observations, preferring to focus on obscure rips, tedious baiting and rather underwhelming match previews.

You have a full unreserved apology.

Wasn't actually even trying to make you feel bad. I like the way I can get under your skin a little bit, it's nice.

The 6-2 win at the Bernabeu a couple of seasons ago had a similar set up. Henry in the position Villa now occupies and Eto'o on the right with Messi as a false/deep lying 9. It's suicide to play offside against that kind of pace and precision coz one mistake (from the defence or the linesman) and your fooked. So you can't have your defensive line too high up.
I've lost myself now. Should leave this kind of stuff to Toxteth Blue

Ah last night was easy to follow mate. Madrid acted like that hard lid on that youtube video (Liverpool somewhere) who is constantly squaring up to this older fella who just stood there looking at him, until he just smacked him down, and the lid ran off completely ****ed up.

Barca were immense, no doubt about it. Madrid are ego's, and then skill. Barca are skill and the ego's follow then.

Couldn't watch it.

I watched the highlights later.

I would like to make some comments about some of the things I read in this thread.

About Carvalho, I think he's not involved in any of the goals.

Inter's luck... well, I think they played really well in Italy and deserved their win. In the second leg, we all remember Busquets' antics that made the italians play one man short.

Fact: the only CL won by Guardiola, as Barça coach, has blood in it. English blood because Chelsea was blatantly ROBBED!!!!

Another fact: Cristiano Ronaldo is cr@p and Mourinho is ace!

Madrid just had a bad night, just like the spaniards had their own against Argentina and Portugal.

And another fact: I think that, since Ronaldo arrived to Madrid, the Barça players have spoken about Messi being number one every single week. Right now, they make sure they tell the world how wonderful Guardiola is and how cr@p Mourinho is. In case they didn't noticed, Mourinho won the CL with Porto!!! Beat that....

Mourinho will get his vengeance..."watch this space"

Did Barça score any goal in any other way apart from counter attack? Funny how a such attacking minded side score so many (if not the most) goals in the counter.
