Beer, revisited

Which ones?

I have 4 bottles of Yellow Belly that I've been saving for Xmas and Boxing day, but have recently tried their,

Lemon Meringue Ice Cream Pie,
Ice Cream Pale Ale,
Rocky Road Ice Cream,
Texas Pecan Ice Cream collaborations.

Really liked them all for different reasons, but the two dark ones, Rocky Road and Texas Pecan, were fantastic and similar in style to the Yellow Belly.
It's the 4 different ones you've mentioned. Can't wait to try them as had the Yellow Belly recently and it was lovely stuff. Shame I can only get one of each as they cost more than a nice bottle of wine!!!

Next on my hit list is the Omnipollo/Siren collaboration!

Hi Ton, how's it going, was in the Station bar on Monday night for the match drinking Fintry ale which helped anesthetise the effect of the result.
Going great mate, I was in my back room drinking Nollaig Spruce beer with the same effect.

I think friends of mine were in the Station on Monday, not for the match though. I think they had just got the train up from London and popped in for a gin or two.

taking the piss some of the pubs in town these days, £5.10 for a bottle of Weihenstephan in Rigbys the other night, a total racket.
My sister went to a night time wedding in sefton palm house £4 for a bog standard can of bitter - no shorts just a makeshift bar etc £4 could get you 4-6 cans in a supermarket!
these micro breweries are a great thing popping up everywhere I can't drink now, but if I was young again loved a nice tasting pint of bitter mild - up in Lancashire all the young lads drank a pint of mixed half bitter /half mild they never drank Lager at all it was lovely stuff!

There's a micro brewery opened up on the industrial estate in Speke - Big Bog Brewing Company.

One of the pubs I go into has started selling their stuff and so far it's all been very good.

This is the latest offering and it's an absolute cracker.
I read in the MerseyAle that they'd moved to a unit in Speke, although I haven't tried any of their recent ales or since they've moved locally.

Any idea which pubs have their ale on cask as I'd be more than interested to try a few?

The Gardeners Arms in Woolton seems to always have one on at the mo.

Well kept and £3.00 pint ;)
