JHB Bitter 3.8% - Oakham.
The Handyman was too sweet for me due to the honey, but the JHB was beautiful.
Almost like a low strength wheat beer.
Went down very well.

Oakham beers are local to me, very good.
Can`t remember ever having anything bad from them.
The licensee of my local has been trying beers in from all over the place recently.

Not particularly strong for a winter ale ; nonetheless, went down well and would drink again.

I know it's not strictly beer but I think canned Guinness has got a bit tastier lately. That's the draught stuff I mean. I used to find it a bit bland.
The Guinness Original is the same, however - a distinctive dry taste like the bottled variety. Delicious.

Stupid name, decent pint.
Had a few beers from the Big Bog brewery, always quality, 6% ish but very drinkable. Unfortunately so drinkable I can't remember the name.

Had a pint of porter before called Odin by the Intrepid Brewing Company. Wow!

Nah, it was only 5% ish. Simply a splendid, spendid pint of porter.
King Goblin is a nice drink but dangerous. It doesn’t taste like 6.6%.Nice, strong and very drinkable. According to the label, only brewed under a full lunar moon.

Best bottled beer I've had in years. Lots of breweries babble on about fruitiness, but you can smell the fruit as soon as you open the bottle. The taste is gorgeous, full of damsons. Can't recommend it highly enough.
Citra and Green Devil are very good IMHO.
