Beer, revisited

Despite others being on offer, I stayed on this all night, as it was that good,

JW Lees - Bitter 4%.

It’s one of those beers that’s sublime when looked after, but dishwater if it isn’t.
 

Another cracker from Peerless, I can see see a Wirral thread in the offing ; @chicoazul wherefore art thou. So drinkable, and the colour was of spun gold.

I've got to ask this of me mates over yonder, is there a limit or something for the ABV of beers over there? We in the States probably average 7-8%, most of the ones I see here are in the 4-5% area.

Nah there isn't a limit. Plenty of keg beers here are 7% + but most posted on here are cask with tend to be under 5%, but not always. You have to go to more specialist places to find them.

I drink plenty of IPA's, imperial stouts, Barley Wines, Belgians just don't post them often on here
