Was up in your fine city for a bit and took in some of Ship and Mitre's new brews--the Flagship Lupa and Flagship Radiant beers. Decent stuff.

A nice one from the Liverpool Brewing co - Bier Head 4%.

Best described as an amber bitter.

Really pleasant after taste.

If you're ever in Bristol give their brewery a visit, it's in the brewery triangle so you've got them, Dawkin's, Left Handed Giant, Good Chemistry and Moor. They all have good brewery taps, the Moor one is fabulous.

So, I guess a question for you lot over yonder, are DIPA's not a big thing over there? In the craft beer world here that's like the long and short of "best beer in America" lists.

Nice, always wanted to go to Bristol. Moor has a place in London too which I have been to a few times. Always have a barley wine or old ale on, good fun.

Old ale, you don't see many of those nowadays. Morland used to do a delicious one before they were swallowed up by Greene King.

In fact, it was so nice I tried a couple of these, which were also top-hole.
