What a crying shame. It’s such a good place.
They’re wanting to reopen somewhere in the local area because the clientele will follow. It’s was my go to place for a good few years.

Well I didn’t have either. Had Wiper and True milkshake stout, Brownie Hunter milk stout, Moose Mousse stout, Gyll golden ale then home for a Holt’s Black dark mild and Robinson’s Trooper nitro. I was told it contained calypsoe and simcoe ; as I've no idea what they are I couldn't possibly comment. Anyway, a very decent pint.

I started about half 11 yesterday and got home about 2, back out at 12 today and still going... I love a few days off work midweek and battering the beautiful amber nectar mmmmm.........

It’s like the brewery want it to be a “destination “ rather than a place to drink in.
There’s many places nearby that sell much better kept beer,

Was in there the other week and half the stuff was off.
Other than that it’s a brilliant pub but you can get a better pint in the fly and the loaf just down the road
