Can't be as bad as when the Stanley Docks were searched back in the mid-90s, where they found some questionable apparatus and what looked like an acid bath.

I don’t think I’ve ever done a pub rip out and not Found something weird and or disgusting, mostly disgusting.

Only thing I left in the pubs i ran was a few skeletons in a closet.

when you do a full refurb though it’s generally been when it’s Been a failing business and the reasons for that usually become obvious two seconds after to step into the empty property .

Enjoyed some of this on my couch on a cold winter night. Was suprised how much I liked it. Very "vanilla-ey" but quite good for the occasion. Don't think I could take more than about a pint...would have to switch to something less overwhelming.

The ale was never the issue mate, it was the random insanity.

We used to sit on the raised area with a view of the bar, taking bets on how long it would take before he threw someone out.

Christmas times were usually a very productive time for barrings lol

I also had a mad crush on Zoe with the long ginger hair that worked behind the bar in the Dispensary.

Good looking, wicked sense of humour and loved her beer.

I’d love to know what she looks like now and whether the beer eventually took its toll.

She ended up as the full time bar manager and I heard that she got headed Hunter to go and work with a new microbrewery in West Yorks at their brewery tap.

I envy the British their real ale. Cask ales are pretty thin on the ground in the USA and when you find a bar set up for them, unless they specifically specialize in them the staffers often aren't so well-versed in keeping them. Always a crap shoot if you're not familiar with the bar.

Mate you guys are the kings of craft ale, 20 years ahead of anything we do over here. Remember drinking a sweet potato and butternut squash APA in the States a couple of years ago,that ruined beer for me,the bar that day was set. Everything has just been plain average since.
