Since lockdown I've been buying the odd 6 pack from a craft beer bar down the road. Hard getting used to the high ABVs. Had a half litre can of some IPA at 7.3%. Drank it like a normal can and was half cut.

I've got a 10% can of TIPA up next. Might just spread it out over the day.

I don't really know the first thing about craft beer other than that it tastes good more often than not. Can anyone recommend any websites or something to learn more about it? I want to be an expert by the time I come out of lockdown.

taking an emergency "humanitarian" flight home tomorrow, a month before my wife's school year here in Bogota ends. Cue the Lindsey Buckingham "Holiday Road" as we'll be doing the Great American Road Trip home, some 3000+ miles from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Phoenix, Arizona, with stops in Flagler Beach, FL, Savannah, Ga, Knoxville, Tn, Saint Louis, MO, Mahattan, KS, Denver, CO and Moab, UT.

After spending two months in a 64m2 apt in a city of 10,000,000 really looking forward to the open road, stopping and breathing the open air in the middle of nowhere (and 2 meters way the hell away from anyone) and doing my (very generous) part to help support the local craft brewers of the US of freaking A.

Not while or before driving, obvs, I'm not Darren Gibbo, ffs.

Before I moved on to the high ABVs I had a nice session porter from Garage Beer co (from Barcelona iirc) a few days ago. Enjoyed that one.

Also a sour IPA from Fluegge Brewery (bit stronger at 6.8%) was nice. That was my first sour IPA.

Found some reviews of the above beers. I don't really understand the reviews, including the ones in English lol
