Beer, revisited

It's more real time, it's just a ratings system and you can leave a description. It's less in depth on the whole, which isn't that much of a bad thing. It's free.

Some of the Ratebeer mob are like wine snobs, banging on about " floral notes " and all that bollox.

Instead of " nice pint, went down well, would deffo have another " lol
Just downloaded Untappd. The reviews are much more simple than the rate beer ones. More my level lol

There is some bar in Belgium which opens one Sunday a month, 10am until 2pm. I think it traditionally opens after a church service and have some rare and old Belgian beers. It got voted the best bar on ratebeer so they banned all non locals for a bit lol people were queuing the night before.

My user name is coollino on untappd if you want a friend, although I am not very consistent with using it.

Sure, just sent a request ;)

Beer box hasn't arrived in time for the weekend sadly, and I fancied some bitter as I've been on the US ales and lagers the last few weeks, so grabbed a few from local M&S. Choice was a little slim as its quite small, this one from Black Sheep isn't a bad start though:

Bright and biscuity, not bad. Could 'kin murder a pint of draft though, just sitting in a pub with a bag of crisps and a book sounds like a holiday right now.

I know exactly what you mean, I’ve got 32 cans/bottles in the garage from beer52 and I’m desperate for a pint of bitter. I’m considering smuggling in a case of Trappers Hat from Brimstage
