Had a couple of bottles of La Chouffe last week, the first time i have tried it. It really is a nice beer for those that like a Belgian Blond Beer. Its similar to Duvel but smoother going down. Just wish it wasnt so difficult to get hold of locally, unless anyone knows somewhere that stocks it??
Only places i have found are either ordering it online and doing click and collect from places like Majestic (Birkdale or West Kirby) or taking a hike out to Burscough and going to a supermarket called Booths that stocks it.

I don't think they do La Chouffe but the larger Waitrose and M&S do a few Belgian blondes. Not sure if Brexit will be changing this.

I got it in Belgium, along with the triple jack which was a muddy roots exclusive once off. I also got the kwak in Belgium but that is no where near as good as the Duvel
The Duvel Distilled 2013 is the cream of the crop however, 5000 bottles made. Expect to pay about 400eu for a bottle

After months (literally) of debating with myself I took the plunge and got a perfect draft machine. Got it set up yesterday with some jupiler in so it could chill ready to try tonight and leffe blonde, goose island and dark arts stout in reserve.
Excited to give it a go later

It’s spot on mate, had lowenbrau in over the weekend. LISA is on my next to buy list actually so I’ll look forward to it.
only problem is I’m normally a weekend drinker, now having a beautiful lager/beer constantly available on draught I’m ploughing through them in the week too now

I know the feeling. Even had one last Monday watching us beat Saints.
