Picked up these the other day. Pretty good if nothing spectacular. I usually prefer IPAs a bit stronger.

I tried a couple of British ales this week, Old Hooky and Haymaker Pal Ale.
A bit pricey at $6, but loved them, especially Haymaker and I'll be back for more.

Possibly my favourite brewery Hook Norton, their mild is lovely but you never see it on draught up here.

Had a couple of pints of this at my local pub last night. I've had it before but wasn't hugely fussed, but I really enjoyed it last night. Local beer too which is always good.

I really rate this beer. I’ve just started importing beer fridges for home/office rentals/parties etc and spoke to Love lane last week. I can get this on draft at home now……. Which makes me happy. ?. I’ll replace my blue moon with this for Christmas.

I lived in Hook Norton for 12 years.........there used to be 4 pubs within walking distance all selling Hooky beer on draught. Hooky Gold my all time favourite.......

Many moons ago I went to a folk concert in Hook Norton, just a small thing, in either the brewery tap or village hall, can't remember now due to either age or alcohol consumption or both. lol

It is an upper end beer, but that said they know what they are doing so are generally reliable for a nice pint.

There is an annual 'Music at the Crossroads' festival in the village, held in a local field....or could have been the beer festival held in the gardens of The Pear Tree pub, just by the brewery. Both are great events with plenty of Hooky beer drunk.
