Beer, revisited

I read about that over the weekend, apparently there`s a pretty big campaign to keep it open.

There`s also a Gofundme to try and raise the 100k needed to get it back on it`s feet again.

I`ll be throwing some money in, as pubs like this are the pubs that need preserving for the nation.

Went shopping today and popped into the Ye Cracke. Delighted to find they had a mild on. Unfortunately, by the the time I left the shops were closed. :pint2:

As the shops were shut I was forced to have a swift one, which negated the disappointment. Equally nice.

Last nights offering and the best of the year so far :

Crocodile Tears 4.1% - Parkway Brewery ( all the way from Somerset )

The best way I’d describe it, would be, as a slightly less bitter / lighter version of the wonderful, but now defunct Cains Bitter.

Pure nectar.
I'll keep my eyes open for it. :) I agree, Cains bitter was lovely, as was their mild. Talking about mild, does anyway still drink a brown mild, or for that matter a brown bitter, a black and tan, or a snake bite ?
