Just necked a pint of this in Weatherspoon's in West Kirby.
A really characterless bitter, but at £2-19, you can't grumble.

Not a good name for a beer either lol Or
You can still sit outside (Roscoe Head) as I did last night. Only had time for one, which was a pity, as this was lovely. And, you can sit outside because the road was closed. Might not be now, I'll have a look/pint at the weekend.
I don't think I've ever had their wheat beer before:

Its really nice actually, a little spicy and quite a bit of various fruit flavours going on. Will have this again.
It is, very pleasant brew.I`ve had that in the past, it`s really nice cold isn`t ?

I was in Belgium back in 2002(ish) and they were talking about how it changed dramatically after they were bought out.Remember Hoegarden, what a nasty little, chemical brew that was !!!!
Have a try of their Dunkel Weissbier if you ever get the chance. I'd describe it as having an eclectic taste as it's all over the place, in a nice way.I don't think I've ever had their wheat beer before:

One my favourite evenings was in the bar of the Cuilfail Hotel a bit south of Oban where I spent a happy few hours going up and down the 70, 80 & 90 Shilling ales on tap.80 and 70 shilling beers were all I could find when I first went to Scotland, 1989. I’m sure it was a reference to the amount of duty paid per barrel, I remember them being quite sweet. Great range of ale in The Roscoe these days.
