Its really well done, same as their legendary plum porter, its a dark beer first, but with a hit of the fruit, slightly sweet, not sour at all. Put it this way, we popped in for one and the landlord had just tapped it. Stayed for four.
Sounds interesting...I'm not shy on trying anything, was just curious.
Last time we were up in Colorado we stopped by the small Dolores River Brewery and I tried their Elderberry Cider. I wasn't expecting greatness; never tried an Elderberry anything, let alone a drink...same deal as you though, planned to stay an hour, left at sunset, 5 of them later. Could have easily had more, but I was driving and she was in la-la land after 3 so that wasn't an option. lol

It can work. Lindemans Framboise. All three, and it's fantastic. It's also weaker than Utah beer (2.5% ABV), so it's great for non-drinkers otherwise.
Only issue with it is that, like a lot of Belgian beer, it ain't cheap.

Last nights tipple - Jeffrey Hudson Bitter / Oakham 3.8%
A delightful pint, bursting with flavour, despite its low ABV.
Easy to see why it’s won shed loads of awards.

I was fine, that's why I say I could have had more. It was 5 over the course of 3 or so hours and some food. She didn't eat (women!), hence why she was a mess.

More likely to hit a deer than anything, truth be told.
I believe this evidence would hold up in court...town's so small I could've just had Gordon, the property owner of the place we camped overnight, vouch for me...probably babysat the judge when he was a kid, FFS; in his 80's and was born/raised there.
