In New Jersey at the moment. I love how bars over here have huge selections of draft beers on tap including a variety of local brews. Makes me want to drink more than I should.

Was in Amsterdam at the weekend. Had 2 pints in different bars, both pints dead, and any pints my mates bought were dead too. Looked around every bar i was in and dead pints all round.

Nothing more disappointing that going away somewhere and they can't pull a good pint.

We were in about 8 or 9 different bars all in mate.

That's why i was suprised as i had heard the beer was great there too but that's not what i experienced.

I cant lie (well I can like a regular lothario but thats moot) so unusual lagers got raised a while back and I saw this in some shop (B&M's or similar) so picked up a bottle. Having drank it (and others) I was gonna do a review, but either I got passed nicely pished or it's good to its values and wipes the memory like its edible/smokable other incarnation. Had to get another hence an empty and a full.

Just got back from New York on Thursday. If you’re still there have a look at the Yard House if you get the chance. Was round the corner from my hotel, next to Times Square on seventh ave. Over two hundred beers on tap and there’s a tablet at the table to narrow down the colour and type you’re after. Food was good in there as well.

Cheers mate, won’t make it there on this trip unfortunately. Out in the sticks in NJ and leaving tomorrow. I’ve added it to my list for next year though.

Looks really good. I prefer the darker beers. The one I'm drinking now is quite good though. To be honest I haven't had a bad one since I moved here. Although I'm hardly a connoisseur, I'll drink anything ?
