Beer, revisited

Interested in purchasing that piece of kit myself.

Would heat belt be a more cost effective option for that?
Ive looked into a heat belt and they seem to be a really good way regulate the temp...this all being said am not brewing yet so am not well placed to say yes or no.

I think from one home brewer to the next they'll all have a different process and kit which suits them best.

The one beer i did brew i didn't use anything to regulate temperature, just took the risk and it turned out ok.

If i am doing it again i wouldn't take the risk.

I have been brewing from scratch for a few years now. I use a grainfather and the conical fermenter. If you are just starting out then youtube is a great place to look. So many people with home brewing tips on there, and most of them are pretty good at answering questions if you comment on their vids. Also, if you are not yet able to control temperatures (something I am not yet into as it can get expensive) I would very highly suggest looking into brewing with Kveik yeast. Absolute game changer and you can brew some incredible stuff with it without the need for temp control.
