First bar i popped into on my first visit in Galway was this one because i seen the motto. Fella thats runs it was a blue.

No worries . Best all round pub in that area in my opinion is Denbigh Castle on Hackins Hey . It’s independent owned and patronised by blues so will always have the match on , when we’re on . Good beers and will certainly have stuff on you like , great service and chocca on matchdays . It’s sister pub the bridewell is a walk away but you’ll be missing out if you don’t give it a visit and was camra pub of the year last year so could be right for you .
Dead crafty bottom end of Dale st is less of a traditional pub , table service and card only but will certainly cater for your beer needs as they’re a wide and varied selection . The ship and mitre , near enough opposite there is another with a big selection and a more traditional pub vibe , well worth a visit .
The lion on tithebarn street is worth a visit and might have some beer to your liking and the excelsior at the bottom of Dale street is a traditional Everton pub and another that’s owned by a blue .
There are only a couple in that area I wouldn’t bother with and it won’t take you long to work out . There are some cracking pubs and genuinely a couple that are really welcoming, where I’m sure you’ll feel at home In no time .

Haven't started yet my friend...I'd literally just moved into a new house the same week as I got my kit...the utility room I'll been using just needs a little bit of work doing to it then am good to go.
I'm in a similar situation. My utility room has been a dumping ground so need to clear it out, decorate and thats my bar area with optics, beet taps and i can bring my homebrew set up over from the mothers.
Hoping to buy the kit you have got so waiting to hear some feedback before i take the plunge.
Yeah that's fair to be honest..its a quite a dear do so get you want some feed back.
Probably best I gave it month or so because the missus wasn't to impressed to see a full brew kit turn up at the house when literally all our life was still in boxes.
Ya know nothing like getting your priorities in order haha!
