Great pub that. Off the beaten track but still well in town.
This is tidy
Quite sharp for a Belgian, sort of a Turkish delight flavour but with a bitter edge.
Brewed by a Japanese in Belgium. Drunk by a scouse in Brizzle. Funny old world innit.

Haven't been in a while, should pop in soon.
So we've gone out for a bimble to Bedminster, and there's a couple of new(ish) breweries set up. First stop is Grain Alchemist on a tucked away industrial estate.
A tremendous, nutty kolsch for me (left). Herself is on the amber which is a bit more like a classic IPA.
And just round the corner is Bruhaha, on the edge of Windmill Hill City Farm. Some nice rock steady and jungle on the speakers, an excellent 7% dopplebock and peanut butter pretzels.

You ever go in the Coronation? Ended up in there a couple of times with an old mate in an absolute state. Cheddar Valley on tap, lethal. I don't even quite know why we ended up their either lol
Oh yes. Despite over 2 decades in the west country I've never acquired much of a taste for the apples. However I've done a couple of sessions in the Tap. They didn't end well.

Yep, that's the one.
They put a sign in the window at one point saying they'd only sell Black Rat in halves cos of the mess students were getting into.
Very nice Belgian Milk Stout in the Barley Mow, collaboration between Bristol Beer Factory and Ossett.
Dissapointing lack of a head on this but was ok. 
Not my usual liking but grabbed a can to try and it was nice. Nice but not overpowering chocolate taste. Couldn't have too many but a nice tasting.
