Good but not great, a Japanese stout. Tasted more like a dark lager, no big aftertaste like a stout should have. It had good flavor that ends quickly. Not bad but not what I expected. View attachment 207087

I’m not usually a fan of ruby ales, as they can be a bit heavy, but this one was velvet smooth and served in tip top condition.

It was served in perfect condition, which definitely helped.
From past experiences with ruby reds, it seems that they can be quite tricky to look after, as I`ve had many more bad pints, than good, despite being in establishments, that are known for looking after their beer.
