Didn't know Home Bargains now own Higsons. Selling their brown ale in their shops, at £1.25, so got a few. I'll try it tomorrow.

I'm convinced that London being more expensive than any other major city centre is a myth, in day to day pubs. The issue with London is that it's just one big city centre. As with certain areas in any city centre, some cost more than others

Bought 4 pint cans (568ml) of San Miguel from the Asian shop across from my house, £6 for the 4. Very impressed with the price as was expecting it to be much more expensive.
