Not sure if anyone is watching England U21s but Godfrey has just ‘accidentally’ stamped on someone’s face and somehow got away with it. Now I’m all for a little snide in a player but he may need to curb it slightly so he doesn’t eventually get a red/ban whatever. Would like to think it was an accident. Game wise he’s been very good defensively and put in 2 or 3 wonder blocks in the first half to keep them in it (losing 1-0 now, Portugal way better)

Not been watching but been seeing lots of people all game saying he's been outstanding, he's class and should be in the full England team, only read a few things about that what they call an accident but said it didnt look good

how is it strange?? lol
anyone with eyes could see it may have been a little naughty but all that matters is that the ref saw it as accidental and no doubt the player will say the same. Some refs may have saw it differently (especially in the VAR age) and branded a different card. Honestly don’t see what was so strange or controversial about that post at all. Looking for an argument cba

Him and Davies failed late fitness test [2 of 5 England players to fail one] - Think they will both be ok for monday as they wont have had a test at all ,if they were bad

.....England U21s go out of the Euro’s due to an injury time goal by Croatia.

i really don’t mind, as if Godfrey isn’t in the full squad I’d prefer him to be resting.
