The problem is, if Yerry injuries himself dancing again we are pretty short on CBs, especially if Fronk wants to continue with the 3 CBs, which he probably wont.

And we have quite a few midweek games over the next few months as well. We have one tomorrow, one in the cup, 3 midweek league games to reschedule, and there will be another if we beat Boreham Wood because our game on the 19th March will be postponed for a quarter final.

Playing twice a week never seems to go very well at this club and we end up with half the squad out.

The long Covid he had must have placed a great strain on his body and he's worked like crazy to get back to fitness. Something snapped.

Should never have been getting all that game time IMO.

Coleman will just get pushed inside again to become the 3rd CB and it will be Kenny/Patterson at RWB, that's if we stick playing the way we did the other day.

Some "fans" will hound him out if he loses a yard of pace.

…it’s not so much losing pace, it’s protecting the muscle that happens. Even subconsciously, players play in 3rd gear. It was noticeable with James McCarthy, his form was ordinary then he really picked up and pkayed flat out for a few games before it popped again.

Much will depend on the extent of the tear. Players who suffer tend to know if the muscle is tight or pulling slightly. they can them come off the pitch.
