Superb. Loved the fact he was pretty much the only one not kissing Haaland's @ss from the first minute. I know he scored but Godfrey got into his head and he knew he needed to calm down and second half he was pretty much anonymous. GO ED BEN LAD!

I was surprised to see him given the role to disrupt Haaland rather than Tarkowski but he played it superbly. Well done to Ben and the coaching staff for the strategy.
Even if his role is limited to what we saw today he can still be a massive player for us. Tarkowski and Coady play every game in a two and then Godfrey comes in when we play three CBs. Keep developing Branthwaite behind those three and we may not need to further invest in the position yet outside of Coady made permanent.

Thought he had Haaland in his pocket as much as it is possible for someone to do that. Apart from the goal which imo was lucky. Great game from Ben
Keane shouldn’t be too difficult to shift, any any loan should cover all his wages without too much of an issue. (Be that via loan fee or whatever)
Mina is the difficult one. No one will be comfortable paying him £600k per month to sit on the physio table between now and June. Think he’s in for a bit of a come down when he gets a new contract, will do extremely well to get £50k per week. Hope he’s saved some of the £32m we’ve given him by the end of his contract ?
