He's an upgrade on Mykolenko, who seems to have regressed this season.

He's a bit limited on the ball, but balances out with McNeil who stays outside and Godfrey moves inside, can do more of his driving runs here too.

Think his lack of height prevents him from being a top PL centre back, maybe he should just stick to LB where he's very dominant defensively.

Those who know, knew there is a player here. Couldn’t believe people were writing him off. But then again at the same time knowing how fickle some our fans are, it made more sense.

He’s had 2 bad injuries since he joined. Ancelotti liked him and he was excellent in his first season at times. Much better than Mykolenko, offers more in every aspect and is athletic and quick.

he’s done very well at left back. Tough in the tackle, adds extra height to defend set pieces and provides excellent cover against counter attacks. Definitely keep him in.

Showed strength in the tackle etc. But I feel he is always one tackle away from a red card.

I like him. He's limited but he's wholehearted and his pace and physicality are very welcome, and he just seems to get on with it wherever he's picked. He'll never be a worldbeater but I think we're a long way from players like him not having a place in the squad.
