Another one of those like Davies and Holgate who's career at Everton isn't progressing and yet enjoy the luxury of being given chances to prove in between. Only reason he's being given that chance is because our LB department has been clueless since Digne left. Mykolenko isn't PL material.

The fact we cannot even nurture a half decent backup is appaling. We did the same mess with an aging Baines and Coleman, failed to develop Garbutt, Galloway, then had Martina play LB, then a few years later between Nkonkou and Vinagre we still can't develop a LB.

They’ve literally just played the ball over the top of him and he’s been beaten every single time.

it’s not even a tactic they’re just lumping it and he can’t deal with it. How do you make it to this level as a defender without being able to deal with a basic ball over the top?

If any left back is left 1 v 1 5 or 6 times in the first half then its not the players fault...its poor tactics.

Not said anything about Godfrey only that its harsh to blame him for the poor setup.

It’s help if he could defend like; most capable defenders can handle on 1v1
